So my husband bought a transmission this was our 2nd explained situation to monster transmission they took all the things into account for what he wanted and we paid the over 1400$ for the transmission which sat on its pallet for almost 8 months till my husband returned home from Alaska where he works 10+ Months a year. This was 2014 Soon after install transmission began clicking he contacted monster but by the time they got back to him he was back at work.
Now 2017 we are 200 miles away from home with our boat and kids. Thank god for AAA. Who got us home safety. Because 10 miles from camping the thing popped and no forward gears.
Took two weeks to finally talk to someone and even though we have less than 10000 miles on the transmission the only thing they want to do is give us 30% off of another transmission. Costing us another 1000$ I think not. My husband is an engineer and has already begun rebuilding his original one. Will post pics once he opens there transmission up these are of his 324,000 mile transmission (that's how long his original one lasted all maintenance and service has been done by him.
And the thing is amazingly clean. So if that shows anything this wasn't our fault like he was trying to say. I don't care how long u have a warranty when u put less than 10000 miles on something it shouldn't leave you stuck.
Especially since we took just as good of care of this one as our original. Remember these first 4 are our original that has 324,000 miles on it later today I will post pics of there's with less than 10,000 miles on it.
