Monster Transmission is the last company you want to purchase a transmission from. I spent over 2 grand to have what was supposed to be the ultimate over built and bullet proof transmission.

I purchased their overpriced synthetic fluid and even used the torque converter they recommended for their transmission. The transmission only lasted about 3,000 miles of highway driving and comuting to and from work. I spent well over a month trying to get into contact with their warranty department only to be pushed off over and over again. When I finally got through to them they made every excuse possible and wanted me to pay some ungodly amount to ship the transmission back to them and they most likely were not going to honor their warranty.

I have basicly decided to cut my losses and have a company localy rebuild my transmission and get my truck back on the road before I get home.

If anyone is looking to them to have a transmission built I highly recommend you go elsewhere. This has been one of the absolute worst company's I have ever dealt with.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

I was going to get the 750 hp 4L80E but after doing some research I will never be a customer of Monster Transmissions!!! You guys have a long way to go

Was going to buy from them, but I saw some bad reviews. Then, I started looking at Jegs, and Whitney and TCI and a whole bunch of others, and saw the same types of bad reviews.

I mean, EVERY transmission rebuilder I came across had bad reviews. Then I thought, "Maybe it's the actual vehicle manufacturer that's the problem." You know? These things break OFTEN, and then companies try to rebuild them, because, otherwise, you'd have to BUY A NEW CAR. So now, I'm pissed at Chevy, for making a transmission that is nearly GUARANTEED to break around 150k kilometers!

Now, do I buy a NEW TRANSMISSION in a new truck, or do I take a chance and have my old transmission rebuilt? The thing is GUARANTEED to break, one way or another.

I would agree with you but look up their Yelp reviews. Any 3rd party review site is gonna be the most accurate.

I've left reviews on their website as well as their Facebook page for them to erase them every time.

If you look at Yelp, BBB and other such sources you'll quickly see that this company is absolutely miserable at backing up their warranty. Plus they advertise a bullet proof product that doesnt hold up to normal use and goes out within 3,000 miles.

The only thing you can do is show up or post on as many sites as possible. It is obvious in the last year or so they have started paying to try and fix their reputation.

They have an account on here and other sites. Spend a few minutes daily on this site, BBB Central Florida, comment on their facebook posts and pics late at night, file a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office, the local Chamber of Commerce and any website you can. Go back on this site and comment under every post you can see. Notice they have 5 resolved complaints out of 159?

They dont care about you. They tell you the lead time is one thing and its always another, that they have so many customers that you have to wait for their "special" transmission to be built. if you want it faster, they charge you. If you want a refund, they will try to charge you a cancellation fee.

If they sell 50 people a week and 1 or 2 arent happy, they dont care. They just got $50k or more just off the trans, let alone the fluid and other *** they will sell you that they get from China and rebox. So if 48 are happy, screw the other ones. What they dont tell is you that re-use questionable parts, call it "re-manufactured" while you get pitted and rusted parts in your unit.

Why, because if you open up the trans you violate their warranty and 80% of people dont or wont open the trans. Its a gamble, dont but their white glove up grade. Another scam, just like insurance they are hoping you dont make a claim in the time frame. Notice on some of these posts they dont even respond to the customer?

They dont give a shift, they are so sorry now theyve changed their mottos to accepting failure. They take your money and throw parties to try and keep the employees happy, then fire them if they dont produce. But wont allow managers to run their departments. Its all a big promise of you will do good here, you will advance.

Till they pay you too much hahaha or you become friends with the wrong crowd hahahaha You are hiring and training professionals to build these units, you shouldnt have 10 units coming back a week. Stop trying to wow people with how many units youve built over the last few years, no one cares. it doesnt help the guy who has to pay for a tow truck, a R&R , a rental, loss of work and the shipping back to you????

You have lost your *** minds. DO NOT FALL FOR MONSTER TRANSMISSION YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

You are dead on correct Tom. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and have left numerous negative reviews on every 3rd party review site I could find.

Other than that my hands are tied for now due to the fact that I am currently deployed out of the country.

They costed me thousand of dolars from the purchase of the trans and everything that went with it to the rental i had to get for my last few months at home while i tried to sort this mess out with them. Carma is a *** and it will come back to *** them in the *** down the road.

I think Bill works for then because he is completely ignoring the bad customer service reviews and only talking about the bad transmission part. Yes sometimes transmissions can have problems right after a rebuild but the customer service that refuses to do reasonable work to take care of the problem is where most of thes bad reviews come from.
