Ive bought two transmissions from monster. The first experience 3 years ago was great.
The second time was disappointing. First off the sales rep tried told me my 700r4 was 500 dollars more than the advertised price. After talking through it I realized he added on a bunch of other parts i didn't ask for and he didnt tell me. After getting the price where I wanted, they arent very honest about their "free shipping." The phone recording and online states free shipping and no hidden shipping fees.
This is not the case, they ship for free to a port only, not to a business or home. After placing the order a month went by so I called just to get an update. The salesman said he'd call me right back which never happened. I tried a day later and another sales lady told me the same thing, which also never happened.
After another day of calling again I finally got an answer. My transmission showed up looking like it had been dropped, the box wasnt even on and the wooden frame was all busted up. To be ironic, the "fragile" sticker was ripped in half.
I emailed the customer service only to recieve no response again. And I think its very disrespectful that the salesman called me "bossman" multiple times throughout our conversations.
