I'm still waiting for 520.00 refund check for the 1000.00 labor I spent to have there defective transmission removed and replacement install. Yes I'm open for a interview.

Ordered transmission Dec 2022. Received defective transmission . Finally got replacement transmission 7 months later. Been waiting for my labor reimbursement for 2 months. Not returning my phone calls or emails. NOTE... MONSTER HAS A NO RETURN POLICY. SO AS IN MY CASE. IF YOUR SENT A DEFECTIVE TRANSMISSION AND DIDN'T BUY WARRANTY UPGRADE YOUR OUT OF LUCK. I PURCHASED THE WARRANTY OTHERWISE ID HAVE A JUNK TRANSMISSION.

I was promised when I ordered it I would have it in 10 days. It has now been four weeks. Customer service more than less does not even exist. ( there is none ) Do not respond to emails and the phone calls are just a waste of time going in circles nothing but lies. I was told its in shipping should have it in a few days. I called a week later they said its in quality control for testing all a bunch of *** Ask for phone numbers and emails for management and no one will even respond or answer me by phone with a answer to the question.

Still no response, have been promised multiple times I would receive a call.

Needed a new valve body assembly for my transmission, I called and stayed on the phone for two hours with Sam to verify the valve body assembly was in stock and it would ship out in a couple of days. Two weeks went by and nothing, i called and they said they did not have the parts in stock. But could build a valve body assembly with some other parts. They said they could have a different valve body assembly sent to me within a couple of days. Another two weeks went by and nothing. By that time, my transmission had failed. A couple of weeks went by, and a valve body assembly showed up in the mail. Now they won't take the part back even though it's still sealed in the package, because they say it was a special order and build custom for my transmission. The transmission is a 4L60E, quite a common transmission. But even though I was promised a part within three days, and it took close to two months to receive it they will not refund. So, I'm stuck with a $1000 valve assembly that I can no longer use. I strongly urge you to stay away from this company.

I've called and tried to resolve the trash transmission issue over 10 times my transmission didn't last 10 miles the parts they used were wrong we opened up the transmission and voided the warranty because I don't want another trash transmission from them they are the worst company I've ever dealt with.do not use them.

We got a trans and it jerked and slipped from day 1 thanks goodness after months later they replaced it that was worst yet !!! After they have your money you can't get hold of them don't care about there costumer lost $3000 they'll find look for anything to void the warranty

Transmission was no good from the start. Lasted about a week with nothing but issues. Parts are junk and the only thing they will do to fix it is with ME covering the cost of repair & shipping!! Oh & also never received our core refund. Stay away, cause nothing is their fault HA!!!

Sale was smooth, then they don't care

The buying process went pretty smoothly, but once it shipped they didn't seem to care anymore. I had questions right away after the install about how it didn't seem to engage properly and felt a bit off. Their only response was to send it back for a warranty check at my expense. Wasn't worth doing that so gave up and figured for a 25 year old truck it was all I was going to get. A year later and I find out the torque converter I got from them was probably defective and the source of the issues. Tried reaching out to find out if there was anything they could do but they won't respond. So another thousand plus dollars and hopefully now it will be fine. The transmission itself always seemed to work.

First, they do not even produce their own transmissions. That is a lie they source from the same vendors as always on a warehouse in florida somewhere, Forget about warranty work it's always something that caused their transmission to fail. Is worst company ever. Only to my worst enemy would I suggest this company.

User's recommendation: Find somewhere else. I paid for two installs , the second one was their fault. They sent me a faulty transmission the first time around and I had to pay for secound install(monster transmissions fault). I got reimbursed $255.for an install. We all know an install costs a lot more than that.

Transmission lasted 800 miles.they will not talk to you about issues.they only email back and forth.1 month now and not contacted me.stay away from crooks.they are nice as can be until they get your money.i tried numerous times to talk to someone and still nothing.when they do email you they try to blame issues on you.

James Collins My 6L80 didnt shift from day 1. Contacted them and was immediately told it would have to go thru warranty. Now if i buy a TV at Wal Mart and get it home and it doesnt turn on i will not be going thru warranty. I live 30 miles from their "shop" in Brookesville FL and offered to drop it in their parking lot. Their "shop" is basically a call center, my transmission was a quick ship that came from a place in Ft Worth TX with similar bad reviews. They said if have to talk to them BUT i didnt buy the tranny from them i bought it from Monster! After a few weeks of run around with them i refused to return my original core that worked better than the one they sent me. I had mine rebuilt locally and it worked beautifully. They refused to refund my purchase but unfortunately for them i purchased the transmisson with my business AMEX so I disputed the charge , at which time they said they could no longer speak to me due to the dispute, I received my purchase total back in full from AMEX and the monster trash team has never contacted me back for the junk tranny or crate it came in. I did have to pay my local shop to R&R 2 transmissions tho so they still got a little out of me. Read this local article. The guy couldnt even build a website to sell to any customers so he decides to become a transmission builder? You're better off buying a junk yard transmission and driving it until it dies, then take it to a reputable shop. Calling their product and service garbage is an insult to garbage!

I left 2 messages for monster to get a hold of me and 1 month later nothing yet no nothing. They don't care of their customers. I got a bad tranny from them, and they just will not respond.

Sorry to hear that, they scammed another unsuspecting customer. You should have checked the reviews online to read the horror stories.

It is 100% fraud, once they get your money you are completely out of luck.

Even if they do get back to you and this liar of human name John will pretend that he is a manager, you will get nothing but headache and frustration. Spread the word, it is an online scam!

We purchased a car from a gentleman with a "Monster" transmission (200R4 MCP). The car had 3,200 miles on the new transmission. We started having problems with it shifting excessively hard.We realize that it has a level 2 shift kit, but it never shifted like this when we purchased the car. The seller told us at the tme of the purchase that he paid for a 3 year warranty. We called Monster to figure out what to do. They asked all the normal questions and then they said that there is no warranty. We asked why the builder of the car said it has a 3 year warranty. Their response was "to the original owner only". I said this car has approximately 3,500 miles on it now. Their response was "oh well" it is not warranted. I have since taken the car to a performance transmission shop that works on streetmod cars. When I told them the story about Monster, they said that is typical with them. They will try anything to have to pay for warranty items. It is going to cost me between $1,000 to $1,200 to fix their deficiency in a relatively new transmission. Monster's moto is " We build relationships". Funny if this is building relationships, their idea of a relationship is different than what most peoples definition would be. I even called 4 of the suggested shops that they list on their website. Everyone of them said bring it in and we will work on it, but it isvon a cash bases. Monster never pays their warranty bills. I have since been surfing the net about Monster. You will see a lot of unhappy customers. If you are considering Monster. I woyld reconsider. What a joke they are. BUYER BEWAREDo not deal with them

Failed transmission from delivery.

Don't buy anything from Monster Transmissions!!! I purchased an AOD transmission and it was failing from the first time I installed it. Leaks from the shift shaft and soft shifts. I contacted them and they made me rebuild my governor then told me to take it to a transmission shop, which confirmed it was a faulty valve body. The delay in their responses and actions they made me do caused it to go past the 30 day warranty and now told me to deal with my bank for the refund. They are masters at hiding from their faults and putting the blame and cost on the customer. A total waste of money and time. Go somewhere else for your transmission.

Here is a follow-up... I called Lentech Automatics and talked to them about this transmission.

They were able to build me a new valve body that made a HUGE improvement. Plus, I ordered the right seals for the shift linkage. So... now, I don't have any leaks and the shifts are much better.

Note: THERE WAS NO SEAL IN THE SHIFT LINKAGE SHAFT!!! So there was no way that it ever worked without leaking from the factory. They insisted they ran the transmission and tested it. Clearly another lie.

Lentech gave me a cool tip on adjusting the TV cable. There is an internal spring that can be removed and replaced with an external spring, which really improved the TV adjustment/movement.

This also helped with the shifts. So, after about $900 and over a year of problems, and help from a better transmission company, it works.
