Work on customer service and be truthful

Bad experience

Now I realize I bought this 700 4r conversion package back in 2017 but that shouldn't matter when I finally went to install this conversion package first thing the flex plate was the wrong flex plate they sent me a flex plate for a 327 engine when they new it was a 350 motor it said right on the tag that was delivered with the transmission then when I went to install the crossmember it was way too big don't know what it is fitting but it is not my El Camino and last when I went to have the drive shaft shortened the slip yoke they gave me was the wrong slip yoke absolutely a joke so I had to pay for all three of those things again to get the right ones e El Camino

The tranny I got not right leaks all over. And more

I ordered t400 short tail. Called asked what kind of car a what shift I wanted. All good. Got the trans. My son anddont go local I put in the car. took the car to the speed shop to have other work done. I told to check it out there was tran. leaking He dropped the pan found a wire for auto kick down was off. shifts wrong

Lost $600

saw ad on TV, sounded good so I tried to order a C-6 with a low 1st gear. Gave a deposit and needed to talk with someone about my build, months went by and there was never anyone there that could talk tech with me. Finally I asked for my money back because they where holding me up. I was then told for the first time no refunds

Lies and poor product.

I purchased a transmission from Monster Transmission. It was great the first phone call, everything was good till communication stopped. After numerous times in a month of me trying to communicate trying to find out when I will get the transmission, I get a call from a delivery company (almost a month later). I have the transmission installed. Not good right away! Park is a forward driving gear.

User's recommendation: Unless you are a tv star or famous person don't expect good service or quality. Read there past employee reviews. It will explain what customer service you will get.

Faulty transmission and refusal to correct the problem

Purchased a custom built and painted transmission which they agreed was defective! They sent a second transmission from a 3rd party vendor, unpainted and stock not custom! They charged us fir the second transmission!!! We filed a dispute with our credit card company which reversed our charges back to us. They picked up second transmission but still after over a year later and unable to use our truck since they have have our core and we have the original non functioning transmission they sent we have been forced to file a suit against them. Never use this scam comp!

These people are not professional. I called about ordering a torque converter and I needed to get more info. I had already gave them my credit card when I said to hold the order and I would call them tomorrow. The minute I got off the phone they ran the order. I called them back twice and I never got a call back. When I looked at the order they got the order wrong too. They put it for a c6 instead of a e40d transmission. I cannot get them to answer now. Just go to voicemail after sitting 5 minutes on hold.t No

Bad transmission and no support

Monster transmission wants me to pull transmission and send it back to them so they can send back to company who built it .so they can repair and send back to me said they had no idea how long it will take.I want a refund.

Installed transmission and will not go into reverse unless you rev motor up.Then it causes an extremely hard engagement see video.been over 2 weeks and still not resolved sent video's to them and they agree something is wrong .But keep getting runaround now they want me to take to a local shop so someone from monster transmission can come look at .I already took to shop once and sent in receipt from shop for $160.00 and saying that transmission is no good.horrible customer service

Bad transmission

Bought 4l80e monster tranny capable of 500 hp. Put it behind a bone stock 454 in a truck. Never shifted right from the first day. After countless hrs of troubleshooting wiring thinking it was a harness issue I finally caved and took it to a tranny shop. They took it apart and there were loose bolts, a drum snap ring in the wrong groove and shift solenoids that didn't work. Also found out all parts are basically oem or cheap aftermarket paper clutch disk linings and such. Sent monster an email, never heard a word from them.

User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!! They are slamming out untested cheap junk.

Worst customer service / does not care

Received a broken torque converter in a master conversion kit. Long process to get it replaced. Replacement one would not go on right out of the box. They will not replace and says I broke it due to installation. I am 63, worked in machinery supply for 30 yrs, know this stuff. I had to be broken at their build. That's bad enough, but you can't talk to anybody like tech or management. The customer service reps have no ability to solve problems only pass info. They look great online and TV but once they have you in their web you are left hanging with no way to deal with them.

Trans blew apart

My son bought 700r4 trans from Monster Transmissions on his way to work today the Fen thing broke the case in multiple places. He was on the Expressway doing 70 mph when it happened POS TRANS. He never liked the way the thing shifted since the day he bought it, So when it came time to buy a trans for his Trailblazer SS he went to RPM transmissions...It's been in the Blazer for 3 years zero problems

Garbage build, refuse to honor warranty.

The build they sent me (which was not what I ordered) failed on initial road test (paid for 3 year warranty). Warranty department would not resolve my claim for approximately 9 months. Monster would not respond to Better Business Bureau. Monster warranty representatives will no longer respond to me and won't allow other representatives to help me. I'm in the process of hiring a lawyer. Please do not buy from them!

Purchased 4l 80 e with all the bells and whistles. From get go, no dip stick, wrong oil pan, not enough fluid, bad seals. Blew tranny in 150 miles. They paid shipping but refused to tell me why it blew , cost me 1700 more in labor and tows. Refused to warranty further beyond original 90 days. Ignored calls, bounced between associates, lied to me over and over again.

User's recommendation: Please save your hard earned money buy elsewhere. Anyone but monster.
